Shunyata Research Omega-X Ground Cable, listed by Shunyata as the Omega-X CGC/SGC ground cable, is the reference grounding cable for use with Shunyata's Altaira grounding hubs. It uses 6-gauge VTX-Ag construction with ArNi OFE conductors, dual TAPc and CMode modules with 68 elements, fluorocarbon dielectric, STIS v3 terminals and eight days of KPIP v2 processing.

Reference systems that use Shunyata grounding, where a component's chassis or signal ground is connected to an Altaira grounding hub.
OMEGA-X GROUND VS. SIGMA-X GROUND
Shunyata says Omega-X ground cables double the TAPc and CMode implementation found in Sigma-X Ground and add eight days of KPIP v2 processing, for a further drop in perceived noise and more low-level detail.
TECHNOLOGY
 | TAPc and CMode filter modules surround the conductors to reduce electromagnetic distortion and common-mode noise. Omega-X Ground uses two TAPc/CMode modules with 68 elements. |
 | CMode is Shunyata Research's filter for common-mode noise, which is harder to measure and remove than differential noise. Shunyata designed it to reduce that noise without the compression effects of conventional filters. |
 | VTX-Ag conductors combine a pure-silver center core with a concentric outer ring of pure copper. Omega-X Ground uses this geometry at 6 gauge. |
 | ArNi® is Shunyata Research's proprietary wire, made from OFE C10100 or Ohno copper, formed in virtual hollow tubes and insulated with fluorocarbon. It is used for the Omega-X Ground conductors. |
 | STIS v3 is Shunyata Research's interchangeable terminal system with gold-plated copper terminals. On ground cables it lets the same cable connect to different grounding points, and it is how Shunyata's ground tails attach. |

Is this the ground cable included with Omega-X Phono?
