Shunyata Research Sigma-X Ground Cable is a reference grounding cable for compatible Shunyata grounding applications. It uses 6-gauge VTX-Ag construction together with TAPc and CMode modules, fluorocarbon dielectric materials, STIS v3 termination, and four days of KPIP v2 processing.

Sigma-X Ground combines Shunyata technologies for low-resistance grounding, electromagnetic control, common-mode noise reduction, termination flexibility, dielectric performance, and conductor conditioning. Its model-specific construction uses 6-gauge VTX-Ag, TAPc, CMode, STIS v3, fluorocarbon dielectric materials, and KPIP v2 processing.
TAPc
Patent-pending Transverse Axial Polarizer technology couples to electromagnetic fields surrounding conductors and is designed to reduce electromagnetic distortion.
CMode
CMode is Shunyata's common-mode filtering technology, designed to reduce common-mode noise without the compression effects associated with conventional filtering.
STIS v3
STIS v3 is an interchangeable terminal system using solid-copper terminals that can be changed to match the grounding connection in use.
VTX-Ag
Sigma-X Ground uses 6-gauge VTX-Ag conductor construction as specified by Shunyata Research.
Fluorocarbon
Fluorocarbon dielectric material is selected for low dielectric absorption, high dielectric strength, and heat resistance.
KPIP v2
Shunyata Research's proprietary Kinetic Phase Inversion Process is applied to conductor and terminal metals. Sigma-X Ground receives four days of KPIP v2 processing.
