Shunyata Research Sigma-X Ground Cable | Reference Chassis Ground Cable
Shunyata Research Sigma-X Ground Cable, listed by Shunyata as the Sigma-X CGC/SGC ground cable, is a reference grounding cable for use with Shunyata's Altaira grounding hubs. It uses 6-gauge VTX-Ag construction with ArNi OFE conductors, two TAPc/CMode filter modules, fluorocarbon dielectric, STIS v3 interchangeable terminals and four days of KPIP v2 processing.

TECHNOLOGY
 | TAPc and CMode filter modules encircle the conductors of Sigma-X ground cables to dissipate EMI and RF noise. Sigma-X Ground uses two TAPc/CMode modules with 20 elements. |
 | CMode is Shunyata Research's filter for common-mode noise, which is harder to measure and remove than differential noise. Shunyata designed it to reduce that noise without the compression effects of conventional filters. |
 | VTX-Ag conductors combine a pure-silver center core with a concentric outer ring of pure copper. Sigma-X Ground uses this geometry at 6 gauge. |
 | ArNi® is Shunyata Research's proprietary OFE conductor wire, used for the Sigma-X Ground conductors. |
 | STIS v3 is Shunyata Research's interchangeable terminal system with gold-plated copper terminals, so the cable can be matched to the grounding connection in use. |
