Shunyata Research Sigma-X Clock-75 | 75-Ohm BNC Clock Cable

Sale price$2,800.00

Shunyata Research Sigma-X Clock-75 is a reference 75-ohm coaxial clock cable for digital components that use 75-ohm BNC word-clock or master-clock connections. It uses SPC conductors with a 100% braided SPC shield, PTFE dielectric, BNC connectors, PMZ construction, TAPc, dual-element CMode filtering, and KPIP v2 processing.

Choose Clock-75 only when the connected clock input and output specify a 75-ohm interface; for 50-ohm clock connections, use Sigma-X Clock-50.

Who is Sigma-X Clock-75 best suited for?
Digital clock systems whose BNC clock input and output are specified for 75-ohm operation.

Clock-75 vs. Clock-50
The difference is interface impedance. Use Clock-75 for 75-ohm equipment and Clock-50 for 50-ohm equipment.

Technology
Sigma-X Clock-75 combines Shunyata technologies for electromagnetic control, precision impedance, common-mode noise reduction, shielding, and conductor conditioning. Its model-specific 75-ohm BNC coaxial design uses SPC conductors, a 100% braided SPC shield, PTFE dielectric, PMZ, TAPc, dual-element CMode, and KPIP v2 processing.

Shunyata Research TAPc technology
TAPc
Patent-pending Transverse Axial Polarizer technology couples to electromagnetic fields surrounding signal conductors and is designed to reduce electromagnetic distortion. Sigma-X Clock-75 uses 35 TAPc elements.

Shunyata Research PMZ technology
PMZ
PMZ is Shunyata's precision production standard for tightly controlling conductor surfaces, dielectric extrusion, and braided-shield geometry to minimize impedance variance.

Shunyata Research CMode technology
CMode
CMode is Shunyata's common-mode filtering technology, designed to reduce common-mode noise without the compression effects associated with conventional filtering. Sigma-X Clock-75 uses a dual-element CMode filter.

Shunyata Research KPIP v2 technology
KPIP v2
Shunyata Research's proprietary Kinetic Phase Inversion Process is applied to conductor and terminal metals. Sigma-X Clock-75 receives four days of KPIP v2 processing.

75-Ohm BNC Clock Architecture
Sigma-X Clock-75 uses SPC conductors, a 100% braided SPC shield, PTFE dielectric, BNC connectors, and a specified 75-ohm characteristic impedance.
