Shunyata Research Omega-X QR is the reference Omega-X power cable for amplifiers, preamplifiers, DACs, streamers, transports, and other high-performance audio components. It combines dual patented QR/BB modules with NIC, TAPc technology, 6-gauge VTX-Ag conductors, CopperCONN connectors, and KPIP v2 processing for exceptionally low noise and fast current delivery.
Unlike the Omega-X XC, which is purpose-built primarily for the wall-to-power-distributor connection, Omega-X QR is engineered for direct connection to individual reference components.

OMEGA-X QR
The Shunyata Research Omega-X QR is the reference Omega-X power cable for individual components: amplifiers, preamplifiers, DACs, streamers, transports and analog sources. It combines two patented QR/BB elements, NIC noise isolation and dual TAPc modules with 6-gauge VTX-Ag conductors and CopperCONN connectors, for very low noise with fast, unrestricted current delivery.
WHO IS OMEGA-X QR FOR?
Omega-X QR is no longer just for amplifiers. It is designed for every class of reference component where both low noise and instantaneous current delivery matter, from monoblocks to digital sources.
OMEGA-X QR vs. OMEGA-X XC
The two Omega-X power cables are built for different positions in your system. XC feeds a power distributor from the wall. QR connects the distributor to each of your components.
A typical reference system uses XC from the wall to the distributor and QR from the distributor to each component.
