The Anthem STR Integrated Amplifier puts a high-resolution preamplifier, a DAC, MM and MC phono stages and a high-current power amplifier in one Canadian-built chassis. It delivers 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 400 into 4 ohms and 550 into 2 ohms, with eight bipolar output devices per channel and a large toroidal power supply.
Built in is ARC Genesis, Anthem's room correction, which measures your room with a precision microphone and corrects the response your room adds. Bass management for one or two subwoofers lets the STR anchor a full-range system. Available in Black or Silver.

STR INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER
The STR Integrated is Anthem's two-channel integrated amplifier: a high-resolution preamplifier, DAC, phono stages and a high-current power amplifier in a single chassis, designed, engineered and manufactured in Canada. Anthem describes it as balancing large power reserves with delicate transparency, using the shortest possible signal paths and differential circuitry to keep noise to a minimum.

POWER AND CONTROL
The amplifier section uses eight bipolar output devices per channel, fed by a large toroidal transformer that Anthem engineers in-house. Anthem rates it at 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 400 into 4 ohms and 550 into 2 ohms, continuous, so the STR keeps control of demanding loudspeakers. Anthem says the multiple output devices reduce distortion and keep the amplifier linear under load.
ADVANCED LOAD MONITORING
Anthem's Advanced Load Monitoring (ALM) is non-invasive protection circuitry that constantly watches temperature, current and voltage in the output section, for long-term reliability without getting in the way of the music.
DIGITAL AND ANALOG INPUTS
The digital section accepts asynchronous USB up to 32-bit/384 kHz PCM and DSD 2.8/5.6 MHz, plus S/PDIF coaxial and optical and a balanced AES/EBU input. Anthem up-samples lower-resolution sources to 24-bit/192 kHz. On the analog side there are balanced XLR and single-ended inputs, and Analog Direct mode bypasses digital processing entirely.
PHONO STAGE
A dedicated, shielded phono section has separate inputs for moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges, so a turntable can connect directly to the STR.
ARC GENESIS ROOM CORRECTION
ARC Genesis uses a precision microphone and Anthem's algorithms to measure your listening room and correct its frequency response. Up to four correction profiles can be stored.
SUBWOOFERS
Bass management supports one or two subwoofers, including independent left and right channels. Combined with ARC, Anthem says the result is accurate, lifelike low-frequency performance.
CONTROL AND DESIGN
A high-resolution TFT display on the front panel handles setup and day-to-day control. The STR comes with an IR remote and can also be controlled over Ethernet or RS-232 for custom installations. It is available in Black or Silver.
